If you are unable to place an order on the MT4 platform, please check for the following common issues:
- Check available margin: Ensure that you have enough available margin in your account to place the order. If your margin is insufficient, the platform will not allow you to open a new position.
- Market hours: Make sure the market for the asset you're trying to trade is open. Some markets have specific trading hours, and if you're trying to trade outside of those hours, you won't be able to place an order.
- Order type: Verify that you're selecting the correct order type (e.g., market order, limit order). If you're using a limit order, make sure the price is achievable within the current market conditions.
- Connection issues: Ensure you're connected to the MT4 platform. Check your internet connection and make sure you are logged in with the correct server, password, and account number/login. Any mismatch can prevent the platform from access your account and placing an order.
- Platform errors: Sometimes the platform may experience temporary issues. Restart MT4 and try placing the order again.
If you have checked all the above and still can't place an order, please contact our Client Services team for further assistance.
