Changing the base currency of your trading account
You are able to change the base currency (e.g., USD to EUR) of your Axi trading account only if your trading account has not yet been funded. Once an account has been funded, the base currency cannot be changed.
- If you have funded your trading account and would like to use a different base currency, you will need to request a new trading account (sub-account). Sub-accounts are free and can be opened directly through the Axi Client Portal by selecting ‘’Open New Account’’ on the left side, then selecting “Account Type,” clicking “Next” and then selecting the desired currency, leverage, and account type.
- If you have not funded your trading account and want to change the base currency, please contact our Client Services team for help, with your account number and preferred currency, and our Client Services team will confirm whether the change can be made.
