Daylight savings in MT4 and market holidays

Daylight saving starts on the second Sunday in March in the USA and reverts to standard time on the first Sunday in November. Our charts are currently set to GMT+3 Saturday when New York is observing Daylight Saving Time, and GMT+2 when New York stops observing Daylight Saving Time.

You cannot open, modify, or close trades when the market is closed, but you can hold positions during the weekend and/or during major holidays. Please be aware that market opening or closing times may be altered due to a lack of liquidity or pricing updates. Traders with open positions over weekends should be aware that these positions are susceptible to additional risk when significant events occur during the market closure.
