How to download and install the MT4 platform on an Apple device

You can download the MT4 platform for free using the following methods:

• Download via the Axi Client Portal
• Get it on App Store (iPhone)

How to navigate MT4 with my iPhone device

Login to your account

1. Tap on the ‘Settings’ tab, then select ‘Trade Accounts’
2. Click on the plus (+) symbol
3. Select ‘Login to an existing account’
4. Next, type “Axi" into the ‘Search’ field, select the relevant server, enter your login and password, and tap ‘Sign In’

If you have entered your details correctly, you will be logged in and redirected to the ‘Quotes’ tab.

Logout of your account

1. Tap on the ‘Settings’ tab, select ‘Trade Accounts’, and tap on the ‘Traffic’ button.
2. You should now be logged out and ’Go Online’ will appear as an option at the bottom of the screen.
3. To log in again, tap the ‘Go Online’ button.

View account history

Navigate to the ‘History’ tab at the bottom of the screen.

How to open a chart

1. Navigate to the ‘Quotes’ tab
2. Tap on the instrument you want to analyze, and a new pop-up window will appear
3. Select ‘Chart’ and your requested chart will be opened

Add a currency pair to the quote list

1. Navigate to the ‘Quotes’ tab
2. Tap the "+" icon in the top right corner and select the instrument you want to add. For example, to add the AUDCHF pair you would select ‘FX Minor’, then tap the green circle icon next to ‘AUDCHF’
3. The instrument should now be added to your ‘Quotes’ tab
4. When you are finished adding instruments, tap ‘Done’

Remove a currency pair from the quote list

1. Navigate to the ‘Quotes’ tab
2. Tap the pencil icon in the top left-hand corner and select the instrument you would like to remove i.e., ‘COCOA.fs’
3. Once you have made your selection, a red tick icon will appear next to the selected instrument
4. Tap the trash can icon and the instrument will be removed from your ‘Quotes’ tab

How to view a position

To view all open and pending trade positions, navigate to the ‘Trade’ tab:

• Open positions can be viewed in the ‘Positions’ section
• Pending positions can be viewed in the ‘Orders’ section

Placing/Modifying/Closing trades/orders via iPhone

Placing a trade

1. Navigate to the ‘Quotes’ tab;
2. Tap on the instrument you want to trade;
3. Press ‘Trade.’

You will then be prompted to specify the volume and type of execution you would like. At this point, you can also add a Stop Loss or Take Profit, if you want to apply for one before you confirm the Buy or Sell order.

Modifying a trade

1. Navigate to the ‘Trade’ tab,
2. Click on the order you want to modify, then select ‘Modify.’
3. You will be prompted to input your Stop Loss or Take Profit details. Once these have been entered, press ‘Modify’

Closing a trade

1. Navigate to the ‘Trade’ tab,
2. Click on the order you want to close and select ‘Close.’
3. You will then be prompted to confirm the closure of the trade with the amount of your current profit or loss for the position. Press the ‘Close with Profit/Loss’ button to confirm.

Adding indicators in iPhone

Please note: For the best display on an iPhone, we recommend tilting your phone to a landscape (horizontal) setting.

Custom Indicators and Expert Advisers (EAs) cannot be used on the MT4 iPhone app.
